Community Guidelines
Random video chat only works if both people feel safe enough to be themselves. These are the house rules — deliberately short, deliberately plain. They apply to every call, every message and every profile on CooMeetYou, and moderation enforces them around the clock.
The one-rule version
Treat the stranger on your screen like a person. Everything below is just that sentence with the edges spelled out. If you would not say it or do it in front of someone you respect, do not do it here.
What is never allowed
Some lines are not negotiable, and crossing them ends your time here: no harassment, threats or hate — no attacking anyone for who they are, where they are from, or what they believe. No sexual content involving minors, ever, and no sexual pressure of any kind — CooMeetYou is for adults, and anyone who appears underage is removed and reported. No sharing someone's personal information, no recording or redistributing calls, and no using the platform to scam, sell or steer people onto other apps for money.
Impersonation counts too. Pretending to be another user, a moderator, or a company representative is an instant removal. So is any illegal activity — we cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.
Consent runs both ways
Every call is two people who can each leave at any second, and that is how it should stay. If someone skips you, let it go — do not hunt them down in later matches or messages. If someone asks you to stop a topic, stop. Flirting is fine when it is mutual; pressure is not, and the difference is not subtle.
Keep in mind the person on the other side may be in a very different culture, age bracket or mood than you. Starting warm and ordinary — a hello, a question, a laugh — is not just polite, it is how the good conversations actually begin.
How reporting and enforcement work
If someone breaks these rules, report them — the button is right there in the call and on profiles, and reports go to live moderation with the session attached. You can also skip instantly; you never owe anyone an explanation for leaving.
What happens next depends on the severity. Mild first offenses usually earn a warning or a short timeout. Serious violations — anything involving minors, threats, scams or sexual pressure — mean immediate, permanent removal, no appeal queue required. Repeated small offenses add up to the same place. We would rather lose a bad user than a good community.
The boring-but-important bit
These guidelines sit alongside our terms of service and privacy policy, which carry the legal weight. If anything here ever seems to conflict with those, the legal documents win — but we wrote these rules to be the version you can actually read in two minutes and remember on your next call.

Frequently asked questions
What gets someone banned from CooMeetYou?
The fast list: anything involving minors, sexual pressure, threats or hate, scams or steering people off-platform for money, recording or sharing calls, and impersonation. Serious violations are permanent on the first offense; smaller ones escalate from warnings to removal.
How do I report someone?
Use the report button inside the call or on the person's profile — it reaches live moderation with the session attached. You can also skip instantly at any moment; leaving never needs a reason.
Is CooMeetYou for adults only?
Yes. The platform is intended for adults, and anyone who appears underage is removed and reported. If you ever see someone who seems underage, report it immediately — that report always jumps the queue.
Can I appeal a moderation decision?
Yes — write to [email protected] through the contact page and a human will review it. Permanent removals for severe violations are rarely reversed, but every appeal is read.
